At the Cavazos Sports Institute Monday Cierra Pena, Nora Monie, Brendon Rivera, and Eric Gutierrez were busy keeping in shape over the break.
Gutierrez a standout baseball player at Texas Tech is entering his senior season. He’s already been on ESPN in the college world series, and was center stage during the homerun derby.
Cierra Pena who broke all time valley records last season is now running track at UTSA.
Nora Monie, last season’s State shot put champion, is throwing discuss and shot at the University of Houston.
Brendon Rivera, last year’s high jump state champion, is jumping at the University of Arkansas.
